Cool Facts

The only thing that even compares to the awesomeness of the monkeys is the banana. There are over 1000 different kinds of bananas. I have listed a few of the bananas and their characteristics.

Veluntina- The veluntina is one awesome banana. The plant it comes from can grow from 3 to 6 feet. This plant's bananas are very unique. They are hot pink and fuzzy. When the banana is ready for eating it peals itself back and has a white fruit inside, but be careful because this banana has very hard seeds that could chip a tooth.
Veinte Cohol- These bananas were first found in the philippine area and are somewhat small and fat. They are 3 to 4 inches. They are green and later turn to yellow when ripe. They are soft and sweet.
Baccarii- This stunning banana is very large, unlike the last one. It can grow 6 to 8 FEET TALL!!! It has light green leaves and is bright red or orange with green tips, but unlike the last two you better not try to eat this banana. It is only used for decoration.
Praying Hands- This is SO COOL. The height of this plant is 12 to 14 feet. This plant gets its name because the bananas are stuck together in such a way that they really LOOK like praying hand, but once ripe you can seperate the bananas. This banana is very tasty and is VANILLA FLAVORED.
